Aleta Sprague
Policy Analyst, Asset Building Program
Aleta Sprague is a policy analyst in the Asset Building Program at the New America Foundation, where she provides research and analysis on state and federal policies to increase savings among low-income households. In particular, Ms. Sprague focuses on asset limit reforms in public assistance programs and new approaches to promoting retirement savings. Prior to coming to New America, she served as an Emerson National Hunger Fellow with the Idaho Hunger Relief Task Force in Boise, Idaho. Ms. Sprague received a B.A. from New York University and a J.D. from UCLA School of Law, with a specialization in Critical Race Studies.
