Mei Fong

As an Eric and Wendy Schmidt Fellow, Mei Fong is writing a book about the effects China’s one-child policy, to be published by Houghton Mifflin. Previously, she taught at the University of Southern California’s Annenberg School and worked for over a decade as a foreign correspondent for The Wall Street Journal. She won a shared Pulitzer Prize in International Reporting for her work on China. Fong is a graduate of the National University of Singapore and has an M.A. in international relations from Columbia University.
