Lina Khan

Fellow, Open Markets

Lina Khan is currently a fellow with the Open Markets initiative at New America. She was formerly a policy analyst for program, formerly known as the Markets, Enterprise, and Resiliency Initiative, and researched the concentration of power in America’s political economy. She reported on agricultural, industrial, and financial markets, and the laws that shape them. She has written for The Washington Monthly, The New Republic, and Salon, and appeared on C-SPAN's Washington Journal and The Majority Report with Sam Seder.

Before joining New America, Lina reported on transparency legislation in India while on a journalism fellowship in Delhi. She graduated magna cum laude from Williams College, where she studied political theory and was editor of the Williams Record.
